Profile · Pietro Campanelli
Research, capital, and responsibility, held within a single working method.
Pietro Campanelli is the founder and CEO of Eonvera Capital and the creator and chief architect of EONVERA ADI. His questions are concrete: how can an investment firm expand its research capacity without relinquishing control over risk and responsibility?
Begin with real problems, not technology demonstrations
Eonvera Capital was founded in 2019. The firm builds on real value research, capital responsibility, and risk discipline, and its research covers equities, ETFs, fixed income, commodities, multi-asset portfolios, and digital assets.
In an institution of this kind, the place of technology has to be confirmed again and again. Pietro Campanelli's choice is to bring technology into the investment process rather than let it hover outside it: actual investment problems define the requirements first; research collaboration, portfolio analysis, and risk identification then test the capabilities; and the feedback from use returns to research and development.
That also explains why he advances two lines of business at once. Asset management is the source of the problems and the boundary of responsibility; investment intelligence is the reusable, verifiable, governable capacity for analysis. They are not parallel slogans but the two ends of a single loop.
A path shaped by the patient building of capability
Eonvera Capital is founded
With real value research, capital responsibility, and risk discipline as its organizational foundations, the firm gradually builds cross-asset research capability.
Online investor education begins
Investment concepts, case studies, and model portfolios are connected, helping learners understand the conditions and risks behind a conclusion.
Six cohorts completed
The curriculum spans equities, ETFs, bonds, digital assets, asset allocation, probabilistic thinking, and risk management, and includes a mechanism for student feedback.
ADI commercialization preparation advances
The six intelligence modules operate within a unified collaborative mechanism, and tiered services for individuals and institutions enter the planning stage.
Global commercialization of EONVERA ADI is planned
Built on modular APIs, independent computing environments, and governance mechanisms, the service is to expand in stages.
Nine departments, so specialist judgment has its proper place
The nine specialist departments described in the company's materials cover the full chain from research to execution, from technology to client relationships. Their relationships are not simply lines of reporting; they check one another through deliberation, authorization, and review.
Three tiers of governance, drawing boundaries for technology
The Investment Committee reviews major strategy. Once research proposes an opportunity, the committee weighs client objectives, portfolio constraints, and applicable authority to decide whether an executable plan can be formed. Its records preserve dissenting views rather than only the final conclusion.
The Risk Management Committee focuses on concentration, leverage, and liquidity. Its task is not to prevent change, but to define, before change occurs, the boundaries a portfolio can bear and the conditions that would trigger reassessment.
The Model and Technology Governance Committee reviews major model updates and changes to production environments. Model drift, out-of-sample performance, and version transitions all pass through review, so that technical upgrades cannot bypass the chain of responsibility.
Together, the three tiers answer a single question: when a system makes a recommendation, who is accountable for it, on what grounds, and when must it be reconsidered. This is precisely why EONVERA ADI embeds governance in its architecture. Learn about ADI's governance design →
Four working principles
Conclusions must carry their conditions
What action a recommendation points to, which assumptions it depends on, and when it would cease to hold should be presented alongside the conclusion.
Disagreement must be recorded
Professional disagreement is not process noise. Only by preserving dissent can review genuinely occur, rather than become an after-the-fact endorsement.
Technology serves responsibility
Systems can improve the efficiency of analysis, but they cannot replace authorization, compliance, or an understanding of client objectives.
Education is part of capability
Whether users understand the scope of a tool determines whether it can be used responsibly.
